I am rehoming a 5 month old female GSD. My ex is a drug addict who can not care for the dog properly and gifted it to our children. I’m not able to care for her the way she deserves at this time in my life because I’m having a new baby and will be going back to work and school FT soon after baby is born. I keep trying to give her back to ex but he is not able to care for her. Sadly this is something I’m doing in hopes this beautiful sweet dog can have the life she deserves. She is very spoiled and I want her to go to a home I know can give her what she’s used too plus more and what she needs. She’s a inside dog who is on a raw meat diet. She will not eat dog kibble, she would rather starve so you need to be committed to this as a life choice for her needs and happiness. She also loves children, she loves children so much I think she would be depressed without children around to love on. She also needs someone who’s able to be active with her daily and committed to giving her that. She loves to be able to just pop out the door and manage herself outside and around the house and come back in. She will not run away or behave poorly. She dose need some work around leash walking as she loves to be off the leash but never far from you. She hasn’t had any puppy training but lots of socialization. Her favorite spots right now are Bloedel Donavan off leash dog hour and whatcom falls trails. I’d love to see her go to a family with children or other dogs who want to share humans and be friends also a family with a yard or house with land that she can freely go from the outside to in … she would not do well being left outside or made to live outside.
