After a car accident created multiple spinal injuries, and her doctors told her the only option was major surgery, Michelle began looking for alternative treatments. She decided to take the lead in her own healing, and began studying and practicing Iyengar Yoga and Krama Vinyasa Yoga. Now her body is in great health and her mind is steady. While in India , she studied at the Iyengar Himalayan Center to learn yoga therapy techniques to work privately with people with injuries. Complementing that avenue of yoga, she has completed several Thai bodywork trainings which she incorporates in her one on one yoga sessions. Her thirst for knowledge in the healing arts lead her to Nepal where she had the opportunity to study with Tibetan Monks and the way they integrate Sound healing into their daily practice. About Jonathan Marcoschamer Jonathan Marcoschamer (aka yoni) is a percussionist and music producer that performs live sets, looping sounds and creating beats on the fly with both acoustic and electronic instruments like the handpan, djembe, and synth. Every live set intends to weave uptempo grooves with calm, ethereal ambient sounds while introducing melodies, base lines, vocals, and other elements influenced by West African drumming, Funk, Disco, Latin Jazz, Indian, and Middle Eastern music. He’s working on a new series of compositions and live performances designed for meditation, dance, and inner journeys activated by breath work and plant medicine. He is also founder of OpenSeed, a start-up that develops meditation pods for the workplace and commercial spaces.
