We are an independent collision center that has been in business for over 40 years located in NYC. We are hiring for several positions, Detail and body men (heavy/light), foreman and painter. Must have tools and experience working in a high-volume collision shop. Assembly Person. Must be able to assemble and disassemble vehicles. Shop Foreman. Manage shop production in coordination with Estimator and Shop Manager. Manage workflow and perform quality checks. Extensive knowledge of Auto Body Repair. Prior work as Auto Body Tech required. Ability to perform repairs, assembly as needed. Detail Person. Must be able to wash, polish and detail cars. Ability to remove minor paint imperfections, such as overspray or paint runs. Preparation Person. Ability to work with the painter to prepare cars for paint. Mask and bag cars for paint. Sand and prime cars. Body man. Shop uses a Car-O-Liner frame machine with a computer measuring system (vision x3). Must have extensive experience in welding, frame repairs, computer frame measuring, and be able to also perform light body repairs, including working with plastic body filler. Must be quick and efficient at light body repairs, including working with plastic body filler. The shop is located in Manhattan (243 East 94th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues).
