You grew up on NYHC and/or punk, thrash, crossover, some good metal. You have eclectic tastes and don't just listen to hard music. Tired of the same sound but love the genre. You are not a tough guy/girl with anything to prove. You seek deeper things in life than partying and rock. You have a hunch that the world is going through a major death and rebirth right now, and that you yourself must be the change. You want to make music that speaks to THIS TIME and doesn't dwell on the past. You can be between the age of 30-55 (but you shouldn't look decrepit and wasted or feel it). No bad drugs (anything addictive). No alcoholics. You love people and life and are easy to work with. Oh yeah...you rip on your instrument and understand that sometimes less is more. We can only practice now once every 2 weeks. Maybe if we had a gig, once a week, as we are both family guys with 9-5's. We have about 14 songs and we feel we are developing a unique thing. We are both around 50 yo, but look younger and can bring it. Think Bob Marley's world view or Bad Brains as the spirit of the band (not Rastafari but certainly "come out of babylon" thinking weeved into the lyrics and spirit).
