R.J. Kelly, New England-based, commercial real estate investment, development and management firm is seeking Carpenters to join our team! Our portfolio consists of a number of office, retail, R&D properties, a self-storage portfolio, and landholdings throughout New England. Candidates must have at least two (2) or more years of previous experience in a similar role. We offer competitive pay with benefits and bonus potential. Pay is commensurate with experience! * Pay and benefits include; paid holidays and time off, 401K with employer match, Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA and Life Insurance. Candidates must be able to perform physical work on a regular basis. Commercial construction experience is preferred with a focus on the installation of various materials such as drywall, doors, drop ceilings, millwork, blocking, etc. The ability to take direction, work efficiently, and learn new skills quickly is essential. - Candidates will report directly to the construction supervisor and work closely with other R.J. Kelly carpenters. - Candidates must have reliable transportation for punctual arrival to the job site. - Candidates must work well independently. - The normal workday is 6:30 am to 3 pm, with overtime opportunities. - Job site locations vary in or around the I-495 belt. This position represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience or begin a long-term career in the construction division of commercial real estate. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Commercial framing - Drywall - Rough and finish carpentry - Job site cleaning - Regularly lifting and moving heavy materials - Minor landscaping - Dress appropriately (company shirts and hats provided) – presentable, clean attire expected. - Ideal candidates will have the following attributes and essential skills: Candidates must be reliable, a self-starter, have the ability to take tasks through completion, and have an eye for detail!
