Serious work, for serious people. We need your assistance with a focus group concerning actual court cases going to trial. We are looking for folks who can apply their common sense and life experiences to actual events and participate in discussion followed by a deliberation of the evidence with the other participants. When: January 27, 2022 Time: 1:30-5:30 PM Where: Zoom meeting. The Zoom invitation to the Focus Group will be provided once it is confirmed you have no conflict of interest with the cases and you are available to participate on the date the focus group is scheduled. Payment: $50.00. Applicants are required to have Paypal to receive payment. Requirements: * You must be a US citizen * Between the ages of 18-75 * You must be eligible to vote just as someone who is called for regular jury duty. * Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license or State Issued ID. * You cannot be currently called for Jury duty within the next 45 days. * Must have access to Zoom * Must be on a Desktop, Laptop or Tablet (no cell phones) * Stable internet connection a must (preferably hard-wired internet connection) * Full participation is required * Must be willing to keep video on at all times * Must be willing to be active (not in bed or texting) There are limited positions and only 8 to 10 people will be selected. Your information will be kept confidential and only be used for this focus group. A diverse group is needed such as different genders, races and ages.
