Imani's dad, Jerrin Hickman has been currently serving life in prison in the state of Oregon for a crime he did not commit. Her grandma, Terri Miller has been working and paying attorneys out of her own pocket for 13 years trying to gain his release. Jerrin recently just had his post-conviction hearing (PCR) in February in hopes of his exoneration. However, the Judge denied their attorneys petition and denied that Jerrin suffered any racial prejudice. THIS IS A RACIAL INJUSTICE IN THE STATE OF OREGON.
