Bassist looking to meet other musicians that have similar tastes on Staten Island. Some of my influences: Meshuggah, Rush, King Crimson, Mogwai, Budos Band, Tortoise, The Mercury Program, Don Caballero, The Meters. Some current bands that I love: Holy Fawn, The Armed, Genghis Tron, Brutus... I'm 40 with kids, so I don't dream of touring the world and earning a living from making music. I'm just looking to play with some people if there is a scene here. I moved to Staten Island just before the pandemic and I'm a bit tired of playing all the instruments in my basement studio with a bunch of loopers for the past 2 years! If you're into any of the bands above and wanna play with a bassist with a more than a couple of pedals, hit me up!
