Come learn about Hope House Foundation and attend an open interview on Wednesdays from 12p-4:30p at our main office in Norfolk. Come visit us at our administrative office in Norfolk. We are hiring for our Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk locations. You can create your own schedule. Are you looking to make a difference in the world and work with great people? Hope House Foundation is accepting applications for part-time support staff positions. Support staff persons work at our team locations and provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities that are living in their own homes in the community. Hope House is seeking conscientious and kind individuals who are motivated to help people with disabilities live independently. Hope House provides paid orientation and training for all new employees. A rewarding, challenging, and fun job! We provide over 50 hours of classroom training for this position. Hope House Foundation provides support in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake. The primary duties are to provide support with daily living tasks such as preparing meals, apartment cleaning assistance, grocery shopping, laundry, daily hygiene, medication management, accompanying to doctor’s appointments, and ongoing fun activities ( concerts, sports games, festivals).
