The ICR State of Construction event focuses on key trends and challenges for the AEC industry in 2022. Join the Indiana Construction Roundtable (ICR) on February 15th as it kicks off its 2022 educational programming with the annual “State of Construction” event focusing on the outlook for the construction industry in 2022. The pandemic is lasting longer than many expected, and the repercussions are having a significant impact to the AEC industry including inflation, supply chain disruption and workforce shortages. Matt Gierke of FMI Corporation will share his insights on how you can prepare your business for these key industry trends and challenges as well as provide a forecast for the U.S. Construction Industry. Gierke will discuss ways to manage the supply chain disruption and how to attract and retain talent. About the Speaker: Matthew Gierke: FMI - Sr. Consultant Matt Gierke is a consultant with FMI Corporation. Matt works with contractors, construction equipment and materials manufacturers, and distributors to drive future growth, profitability and improvement. Matt specializes in market strategy, change management, business development and project management. Matt received his Master of Business Administration, with concentrations in strategic management, marketing and economics, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Matt also holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Valparaiso University. The Indiana Construction Roundtable, Inc. (ICR) is a nonprofit organization which serves the construction consumer in Central Indiana, with the assistance and input of all members of the construction team. The mission of the ICR is to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the construction and major maintenance industries thereby enhancing a facility's ability to provide added economic value to its organization.
