Join us for an evening with 4 piece quartet led by Jake Blount & 5 piece band, AJ Lee & Blue Summit ! AJ Lee & Blue Summit are pure, beautiful American music. Soaring harmonies, top notch picking and strumming as well as a healthy respect and reverence for the classic country, bluegrass and folk music of the past all add up to a band who are masters of the genre! Jake Blount is an award-winning banjoist, fiddler, singer and ethnomusicologist based in Providence, RI. He is a two-time winner and many-time finalist of the Appalachian String Band Music Festival. Blount specializes in the music of Black communities in the southeastern United States, and in the regional style of the Finger Lakes. A versatile performer, Blount interpolates blues, bluegrass and spirituals into the old-time string band tradition he belongs to.
