Join us for a morning of running (or walking), yoga, and meditation all while raising funds and awareness for Lower Cape Fear Lifecare.
Welcome to TRI-Mindfulness where we combine the three great and healthy activities of running, yoga, and meditation.
This active morning starts with an untimed 5K (3.1 miles) or 1.5-mile walk or run on the beach from Shell Island Resort heading north, then south, then back again.
Next, settle into an all-level yoga practice for 45 minutes that will stretch working muscles by moving with the breath while special music accompanies the practice.
Finally, sit still for 15 minutes with a guided meditation to quiet body and mind. Be present to the benefits of this cross-training practice.
Register by March 6 and receive an awesome beach towel. Register after March 10 and beach towels will be available on a first-come first serve basis.
All proceeds will be donated to Lower Cape Fear Lifecare for the quality of all life that we live-from beginning to middle, and to the end.
March 20th Timeline:
8:45 - 9:45am: Packet pick up and day of registration
10:00am: 5K and 1.5 mile run and walk
11:00am: Yoga
11:45am - 12:00pm : Meditation with Holly Konrady
