Join us at the full moon for an opportunity to connect in community with others. Our February full moon is in warm, sunny Leo! Leo is playful, big-hearted, and courageous, inviting us to shine authentically as ourselves in the world. Join us for community time around the fire pit in honor of the full moon. WHAT TO EXPECT: Our Full Moon Gatherings provide an opportunity for folks who participate in our monthly New Moon Circles to connect with others in an informal environment. The Full Moon Gathering will be held outdoors, and s'mores supplies will be available onsite. Be sure to bring your favorite beverage! WHO ARE THESE GATHERINGS FOR? Our Full Moon Gatherings are *only* open to folks who participate in our monthly New Moon Circles and folks who have a personal connection to those who do. If you do not know a Circle participant or the Event Facilitator, we would love to get to know you through one of our New Moon Circles. Tickets for those Circles are posted monthly here on Eventbrite. LOCATION: The event will be hosted in the North Decatur area, about 5 minutes from the intersection of Candler Road and Lavista Road. The actual address will be provided to you following registration. TICKETS/PRICING: You *must* register through Eventbrite to attend this event. Limited spots available. In the event that the gathering is cancelled due to inclement weather, full refunds will be issued. Otherwise, all registrations are no refunds/exchanges/transfers. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please wear clothing that is appropriate for the weather as we will be gathering outdoors. A few chairs and several blankets will be available for seating onsite, but feel free to bring a camping chair or anything else to keep you comfortable! If you have specific access needs, please be sure to reach out to the Event Facilitator prior to the event. COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: Proof of negative COVID test is required for entry (PCR test completed within 48-72 hours of the event start time OR rapid test completed within 2 hours of the event start time). We have had great luck with free PCR testing, short lines, and quick turnaround on results at Emergent Testing Decatur. The event is held outdoors, and masks are required only if visiting the restrooms, which are indoors. EVENT FACILITATOR: This event is facilitated by Kelly Benning, founder of Heart Space Consulting LLC. Kelly is a writer, energy worker, and creatrix who is passionate about individual and collective transformation, including the cycles of death and rebirth that assist us in that process. She is certified as a Tantric Practitioner through the Urban Tantra® Professional Training Program and as a Level II Reiki Practitioner through the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. She has also completed certification in Mental Health First Aid. Following her completion of Circle Leader Training through the Wild Woman Project® in 2017, Kelly implemented the first queer- and trans-affirming New Moon Circles affiliated with the project in the southeast. She brings more than a decade of experience with somatic movement practices including yoga, and more than five years of experience working with individual clients and groups to facilitate intention setting using modalities such as tarot, storytelling, breathwork, visualization, energy work, ritual, and engagement with the elements.
