Synopsis from the book cover: Conner the Bird Avenger is a sixteen-year-old teen from Evergreen neighborhood. In his home one night, he gains powers from a magical box. After he received all of his powers, his training begins for months before seeking justice. While pursuing justice, he runs into trouble with a villain. Then the battle of the two begins until one finally gets defeated. In this story, you will see Conner facing problems, never giving up, being brave, and having a good heart! Bio provided by author: Zachariah "Zack" Johnson is an African-American author from Louisiana. When he was younger, he was diagnosed with autism, but that didn't stop his love for watching cartoons and superheroes. He would write stories about superheroes in school and win awards. When he became older he would share his stories with close family and friends and his passion for superheroes genre. Animations and comic books balanced out by being involved with martial arts is just fulfilling for him. His inspiration for creating the book came from his father and his high school teachers. He is aspiring to pursue a cartoon animator career after graduation. He hopes that the story of Conner inspires people to do the right thing even if it's hard to do!
