Description

Communicating past our differences is a key for nonprofits leading community impact initiatives. Join us as the Spartanburg Interfaith Alliance and Nonprofit Connect collaborate to discuss working together to communicate past our differences. In a time where polarizing opinions and disagreements abound, how can we change the narrative to respectful communication? Our speaker, Dr. Russell Booker, will help us learn how working together across our differences can be used to communicate more effectively and find common ground with staff, volunteers, supporters, congregation members, and the community. For this hybrid event, we will have seats for 12 in-person attendees at the Robert Hett Chapman, III Center for Philanthropy. We will also offer Zoom Tickets. The Spartanburg County Foundation is committed to improving the lives of Spartanburg County residents by promoting philanthropy, encouraging community engagement and responding to community needs.  Established in 1943, The Spartanburg County Foundation is the oldest community foundation in South Carolina.  The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of respected community leaders and managed by professionals with knowledge of the community and its most pressing needs.
