Join us for a night of fun and exciting bingo to benefit The Kids Cancer Foundation! Help Us Help Them Fight! Hello everyone! My name is Jackie . I am a Junior at Jupiter High School. Pediatric Cancer has always been a topic in my household. My mom, a previous Pediatric Oncology Nurse, has always been involved in not only the treatment of her patients, but an advocate for children and families affected by this diagnosis. This year I am dedicated to not only raising awareness but raising funds for a local foundation that does so much for our local children and families with this disease. Please join us for a fun night of bingo, 50/50 raffle, silent auctions and music. If you are unable to attend please consider donating! Cancer is the #1 cause of death in children due to disease.15,780 children will be diagnosed with cancer in the US this year alone!60% of all childhood cancer survivors will suffer from late effects such as diabetes, learning difficulties, infertility, heart failure and secondary cancers. When a child is diagnosed with cancer his/her life changes drastically. Chemotherapy treatments, doctors visits and trips to the hospital soon consume the majority of their time. Indeed life changes for the entire family . The many programs and services provided by the Kids Cancer Foundation make it possible to meet the myriad of needs of the young patients and families.
