WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's coronavirus surge appears to be on the downslope, according to the latest state data released Thursday.
The town's two-week case count rate fell from the prior Thursday's report, from 864 cases to 860.
The two-week positive rate continued to rise, from 21.5 to 22.52, but more recent data from the Wilmington Health Department shows cases are rapidly falling.
As of Tuesday, the town had 203 active positive cases, down from 361 on Jan. 10 and 531 on Jan. 4.
