Press release from the Suffolk County Government: January 19, 2022 Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on January 19, 2022. Last updated January 18, 2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Information 1,184,550 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,195. 1,063,479 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 1,243. 80% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose. 92.6% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose. 71.8% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated. 2% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated. 5% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated. 8.0% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose. Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended.
