GREENDALE, WI — A woman was arrested on Jan. 15 after police saw her driving the wrong way on Loomis Road, according to Greendale Police call logs from Jan. 15-21. An officer saw the car traveling the wrong way on the divided highway around 12:30 a.m. Police pulled the car over and arrested the driver for OWI 2nd, logs say. Her car was towed and before she was released the woman was cited for PAC 2nd, wrong way on divided highway and possession of THC, logs said. Here's what else the Greendale Police Department was dealing with over the past week: Toilet Paper Theft On Monday Walmart asset protection at the 5301 76th Street location reported a person was leaving the store with toilet paper that was not paid for, logs said. After loss prevention stopped the person, the merchandise was returned along with a purse, according to call logs. Panhandler Cited For Tresspassing Southridge security reported a person was panhandling at the food court and was not willing to leave on Tuesday. The man was arrested for a Greenfield Police Department warrant for trespassing and a PR bond was signed, according to call logs. The man was issued a municipal citation for trespass to land, logs said. Double Truancy The school resource officer at Greendale High School reported two truancy complaints on Wednesday, logs said. Purse Stolen From Clothing Business On Wednesday, a woman reported her purse was stolen Monday from a business on 5300 76th Street. Police Welfare Check Locates Man At Bottom Of Stairs Someone on 5400 Olympia Drive on Wednesday requested a welfare check for a neighbor at a house they hadn't seen in a couple of days. Police found the man at the bottom of the basement stairs breathing and moving arms. He was transported by medical help, according to call logs. Attempted Theft From Business An employee of a business on 5400 South 76th Street reported on Jan. 15 a retail theft occurred. One woman was arrested for retail theft - concealment, logs said.
