BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man was arrested on suspicion of drug and weapons charges during a raid Thursday.
Gregory Robinson, 26, faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm, defacing a serial number or receiving a firearm with a defaced number, possession to distribute a Class D drug, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, fentanyl trafficking and cocaine trafficking, according to the Brockton Police Department.
Robinson remains in custody. No bail was set.
Police found nearly 100 grams of fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine; an illegal gun with ammunition; thousands of dollars in cash; and drug paraphernalia in a search of Robinson's house, car and a Randolph residence, police said.
"Thursday's drug seizure and arrest mean these deadly narcotics will never reach the dealer's targeted victims, saving untold lives," said Lt. Paul Bonanca, Brockton police chief of detectives.
