We are a wholesale plant nursery looking for someone with a desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically strenuous environment. Must possess a willingness to learn and carry out instructions effectively. Must have a record of reliability and dependability and excellent communication skills. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ⦁Responsible to ensure top quality plants are grown in timely manner for wholesale distribution. ⦁Responsible for all aspects of perennial plant production. Planting, cutting, weeding, moving, pulling orders, etc... ⦁Assist with and/or perform additional duties as required by operating needs of the company or as directed by management. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education and Experience: 3+ years of plant production experience. Horticultural education preferred, but equivalent experience is satisfactory. Licenses and/or Certificates: Valid driver’s license ABILITIES ⦁Ability to take and follow directions and ability to work with little to no supervision. ⦁Ability to work as a team and to perform duties independently. ⦁Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. ⦁Ability to provide leadership and positive attitude. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Working Conditions: Frequently exposed too extreme cold and hot temperatures, wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions.
