Press release from the Howard County Government: 01/20/2022 Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-313-STOP or [email protected].  Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Columbia late Wednesday night.  At approximately 11:58 p.m., police responded to a footpath near the 5200 block of Eliots Oak Road for a report of an adult male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital in critical condition.  Police do not have any suspect information and continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting.
