Here are the top three stories today in Franklin: Williamson, Inc. will host its first Policy Talks of 2022 at the Columbia State Community College Williamson Campus, this morning. Williamson, Inc. Policy Talks is a monthly community forum featuring elected officials offering a platform to discuss the issues being debated in the Tennessee Legislature and in Williamson County. Topics presented at the meeting included legislative redistricting, state education funding, and issues pertinent to the business community. (williamsonherald.com) The new Dunkin' Franklin location located at 500 Cool Springs Blvd. is celebrating its grand opening today. The first one hundred customers in line will receive free coffee for a year. The 2,000 square-foot restaurants will be a NextGen location boasting increased energy efficiency and a modern design. (Williamson Source)An overnight crash involving several vehicles shut down I-65 in Williamson County for nearly six hours yesterday morning. Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that six vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, were involved in the crash and several injuries occurred. Lanes were reopened after the crash was cleared.
