WOODBURY, MN — The number of Woodbury schools on the Minnesota Department of Health's list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks was cut in half Thursday. A dozen Woodbury schools were included Jan. 6 on the first list of 2022, but six Woodbury schools were removed from the most recent list: E-STEM Middle SchoolMiddleton ElementaryNew Life AcademyRoyal Oaks ElementaryWoodbury ElementaryWoodbury Middle SchoolSoWashCo To Follow New Rules On COVID-19 Isolation, Quarantine Six Woodbury schools remained on Thursday's list: East Ridge High SchoolLake Middle SchoolLiberty Ridge ElementaryWoodbury High SchoolSaint Ambrose Catholic SchoolWoodbury Leadership Academy Four of the six Woodbury schools on Thursday's list are in the South Washington County Schools district. The COVID-19 data dashboard for South Washington County Schools shows there have been 3,237 total coronavirus cases this academic year across the district's schools, as of Thursday. That includes 1,268 new cases recorded from Jan. 7-20, the dashboard shows. The Minnesota Department of Health's most recent list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks included 26 Washington County schools, 18 less than last week. Thursday's list included 444 schools throughout Minnesota, 244 less than last week.
