ST. MICHAEL, MN — The number of St. Michael schools on the Minnesota Department of Health's list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks dropped to its lowest mark in months, with three schools included Thursday.
St. Michael-Albertville High School, STMA Middle School East and Fieldstone Elementary were named on the most recent list, while Big Woods and St. Michael elementary schools were removed.
Thursday's list also included two STMA schools in Albertville: Albertville Primary and St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West.

The COVID-19 data dashboard for the St. Michael-Albertville School District shows there have been 850 total coronavirus cases among students since Sept. 7, as of Tuesday.
That includes almost 300 new cases reported from Jan. 5-18, according to the district's data. The district has also added 61 new coronavirus cases among staff members since Jan. 5, taking that total to 167 cases since Sept. 7.

The Minnesota Department of Health's most recent list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks included 26 Washington County schools, 18 less than last week. Thursday's list included 444 schools throughout Minnesota, 244 less than last week.
