I have a 2 year old male cockatiel that comes with a cage. I love him, and he is a great pet with no downsides, we just have to get rid of him. We are moving due to unforeseen circumstances and cannot take him with us. We only have had him for hardly 1 year and 6 months. I would not have got him if I knew this moving was a possibility. He comes with his cage for a rehoming fee of $150. The cage alone could be worth about 75. But I figure he would feel better going with his home. I wish I had more time and space for him but I do not. He can step up and loves sitting on shoulders. He is a bit standoffish to any newcomers, but he does adapt quickly. He will always have a fear of hands, but still love people. We call him Appa and he does respond to it, but of course you could rename him? He can talk too, but we haven't trained him at all. His favorite things to say are, "i'm a pretty bird" and "watcha doing?"
