LAKEWOOD, OH — When a Lakewood resident died this week, police had to remove a 2-foot alligator and snake from their home. Both animals were impounded by Lakewood Animal Control on Thursday night, according to Police Chief Kevin Kaucheck. The alligator was approximately 2-feet long and had been kept in a cage, News 5 reported. No details on the snake were immediately available, police said.
