BAY AREA — The Steam Foundation, a Bay Area nonprofit aiming to provide STEAM education to students in underserved communities, is hosting free 10-week virtual classes for students around the country.
The classes include instruction on 3D printing, robotics, graphic design, app development and Java and Python programming. The nonprofit is student-led and run.
Applications for the classes close on Jan. 25.
Spots are open for students in grades 5-8. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and applicants will be automatically accepted upon submission.
