Our made-to-order processes allow us to go from flat sheet metal to fully assembled frames in the same time as stocking fabricators. Fabricator (Great Benefits) CDM is looking for Fabricators of all levels. CDM is an established company which implements a Lean Manufacturing culture. Required Skills: - Basic math, including addition and subtraction - converting fractions into decimals, ability to use a calculator - Reading and understanding shop drawings to successfully execute work - Using tape measure and calipers to measure work - Physical demand, safely handle heavy parts (up to 125lbs stock sheet of metal) Job Description includes: - Setting stops on machine bed, changing dies, adjusting components - Using spot welders, punch presses, powered hand tools, chop saws, band saws, grinders, and drill presses - Testing and adjusting machine settings according to specifications - Marking identifying data on work pieces - Stacking and organizing work pieces correctly for next process - Cleaning and lubricating of machines - Cleaning Work Area Job requirements include: - 2+ years of experience operating precision tools (preferred) - Stellar attendance, 90% on-time - Positive attitude - Good work ethic / independent worker / self-starter / problem solver - Drug Test required.
