We have two male rats who are a little under a year old. Due to severe allergies we unfortunately can’t keep them anymore. They’re extremely friendly, they’re trained not to bite through bars (have never bitten at all, period) and they’re very scoopable. They’ve even had light training, they’ll climb up your arm and we even have videos of them doing spins on command for treats. I won’t budge on them needing to be pets as well as being in a pair. They’re generally clean and we have a two story critter nation with litter guard pans so they won’t make a mess, we even have half a large bag of food for whoever will give them an amazing home.
