Description

Please read ENTIRE ad before responding. Thank you! I have an ongoing yard project, total property area is approximately 1/5th of an acre (yard area is probably less than half that space). I am working it in stages, to be completed hopefully by June. TASKS: 1. Pick up and load loose debris (stones, rocks, sticks, vegetation, misc wind blown trash) into pickup truck parked at curb. Existing retaining wall will stay. 2. Use hand tools (shovels, pick ax, etc.) to remove partially buried debris, load into truck. 3. Use hand tools to remove existing vegetation, load into truck. 4. Use hand tools to level small mound of dirt/clay. 5. Dig out 4"-6" of material from curb strip, load into truck. Possibly: 6. Spray ground clear over entire area. 7. Spread weed cloth and/or plastic sheeting over entire area. 8. Spread ground cover material over entire area (either unloading from truck or loading from existing pile). Extra: 9. Install wood/wire perimeter fence with gates. 10. Install decorative vegetation. 11. Powerwash side walk. PAY: One person @ $20/hr CASH daily; two people @ $30/hr; will consider more than two people at a time on a case by case basis. NOT interested in getting bids for project - paying by hour only.  HOURS/SHIFTS: Any time/day 8 AM to 5 PM. Must schedule/work minimum 3 hour shifts at a time. Shifts do not need to be consecutive. Short (10 min max) paid breaks expected each hour (as needed). Paid meal break (30 mins) if working over 3 hours. Efficient work will probably get an additional cash tip. No obligation to schedule for more than one shift or additional yard projects. TIMEFRAME: Tasks 1 - 5 Jan 24 - 31, tasks 6 - 8 Feb 1 - 8, tasks 9 - 11 Feb 15 - March 8 WORKING CONDITIONS: Outside. Be prepared for whatever weather exists during scheduled shift. Masks/shots not mandatory. No restroom on site (nearest facilities approximately 6 block drive/walk away). Cigarette smoking allowed (butts to garbage can). Drop cord available if power is needed. Bring your own snacks, drinks, misc supplies (gloves are advised). Nearest bus stop approximately 3 blocks away. Will likely be working with at least one other person (regular worker). Will supply all tools needed. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.
