Mirabella at ASU, a modern, upscale retirement community in downtown Tempe, is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to provide routine and special cleaning services throughout the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture.  Want to learn more about who we are?  Check out our YouTube video!  Work Schedule:  Shifts/Days Vary, 2nd and 3rd Shift The Custodian is responsible for the following: Perform routine and special cleaning of all public and common use areas within the community. Clean offices, restrooms and their fixtures. Shampoo carpets, wax floors, wash windows, and remove trash. Operate special equipment for floor care in public areas and residential units. Set up and take down events in the meeting rooms. This includes chairs, tables, and audio/video equipment. Complete minor maintenance tasks as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned or required - including assisting with Valet/Driver services as needed. About You: One (1) year of experience in housekeeping, custodial, cleaning or a related field is preferred. Floor care experience is a plus!  (Stripping, waxing, extracting carpet) Skills in operating Custodial equipment and tools. (auto scrubber, slow speed scrubber, high speed burnisher, wet vacuum, sweepers, disinfecting electrostatic equipment.) Knowledge of solutions, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies. This position may require occasional assistance with Valet/Transportation services.  A valid Arizona driver’s license and insurability by our designated carrier is highly preferred. Maintain minimum eligibility requirements on driving record. Ability to prioritize to make sure that all scheduled events are set up in time. Ability to read and understand label instructions. Ability to fill out forms accurately. Help us keep our seniors safe. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster is a requirement prior to employment.
