Award-winning, residential design/build construction company is looking for a carpenter/skilled laborer to join our team! This role involves daily interaction with homeowners, trade partners and teammates to complete remodeling and home building projects on time and within budget. Skills & Minimum Requirements: • Perform physical labor • Residential construction experience preferred • Excellent customer service skills • Punctual attendance and willingness to work • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and pass a background check • Ability to maintain a consistent 40-hour work week Duties/Responsibilities: • Must excel at working on higher-end projects • Be extremely detail-oriented and maintain a clean job site • Have a great attitude - specifically, a problem-solving outlook and the motivation to bring projects in on time and within budget • Be comfortable working on all phases of a project (demo, protection, framing, light electrical or plumbing, drywall, trim, finish and rough cleaning) • Arrive at the job on time and have tools to complete the job for that day • Self-motivated • Ensure company policies, procedures, OSHA and safety guidelines are met • Possess knowledge of proper handling of materials, tools and approved methods of installation of various work scopes • Ability to follow directions • Great communication throughout the job with project managers, fellow employees and trade partners • Ability to read and understand blueprints and work with limited supervision • Provide excellent client experience throughout the project to ensure repeat business and client referrals Competitive Compensation & Benefits • Full-time position • Competitive compensation and benefits (health, vision and dental) • Salary depends on experience • Eligibility for company retirement plan • Vehicle allowance • Company-paid fuel How to Apply: Applicants interested in applying for this position should apply via email ONLY.
