Pettit Staffing is currently seeking Furniture Installation helper. This is a fast-paced, teamwork driven position with the opportunity to work over-time. General labor Installer helpers must be able to work flexible hours depending on individual client needs. ***Please note this position may require a background check and drug test. Some Job Duties are as follows: Operation and off-loading of 26 foot automatic box truck Commercial office furniture staging and assembly Interact daily with customers face to face and feel the difference you are making Loading and unloading dock consisting of moving different products and getting them ready for the incoming/outgoing trucks Manually loads packaged material onto pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas Physical requirements: Must be able to comply with the physical demands of constantly lifting and moving stock by hand or with manual equipment (including pallet jacks and forklifts). Ability to lift 40+ lbs. on a regular basis, and occasionally be able to lift/move more than 50+ lbs. with mechanical or peer assistance.
