Guitarist looking for like-minded musicians

Putting out the feelers for some solid, seasoned musicians (male, female, quadruped, whatever…) that are settled into their lives and settled with the fact that being in a band at this point is a fun hobby, and yet the fun comes from playing with other like-minded musicians who take pride in how they sound! Looking to play out 6 to 10 times a year. No 1:00 a.m. dive bar gigs! Just festivals, fairs, bbq’s, afternoon micro-brews, etc. Classic, danceable rock, SOME country maybe? 80’s cover bands either go Big Hair Metal on one end, or Prince, Madonna & Michael Jackson on the other- it’s great stuff! But what about the middle of the road 80s music? i.e INXS, Dire Straits, the Police, Clash, U2, Genesis, the Fixx?? How about some 70s Arena Rock stuff? 90s stuff is good, too – I’m open!
