Description
I am hoping to find a home for my special needs cat, Melvin. He will be 2 years old in May. He has severe cerebellar hypoplasia~ a birth defect caused from his mother being hit by a car while he was in the womb. He is unable to stand or walk on his own, but he does get around very well! He is house trained, you just have to put him in his litter box after meals (but he will tell you if he needs to go as well). I have had him for a couple months now after taking him in to prevent him from being euthanized. He is a happy boy and doesn’t know that he’s any different! He’s very spoiled and loves to be wrapped in his blanket and tucked in at night lol. He’s used to other cats and has done well with small dogs, but I wouldn’t recommend him for a very busy household since he can be shy at first. No younger children! He is now neutered, UTD on vaccines, and had his yearly blood work completed as well. He would do great with someone that works from home or is retired, since he really just wants to be with you and cuddle all day (he is a couch potato). If you would like more information on him, please feel free to reach out! I’m not in a hurry to find him a home, he deserves the best. His adoption fee is $50 just to ensure a good home. Thanks!!
