Description

A small group of players who like gypsy jazz are looking for others with a similar interest. So far we have violin and back up up guitar. More guitars and string bass would be good, both lead and backup, so that we can trade solos. We're working on a handful of standard Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelly tunes at present and intend to expand our repertoire. We prefer La Pompe style guitar rhythms. At jams we are practicing acoustically, without amplification. We're presently meeting in private homes in the New Hampshire seacoast area. For safety we ask that all participants be fully vaccinated and comfortable with wearing masks. Age is not an issue. Ryan
