When you come across a post for a puppy or any animal that shows a Photoshopped picture of the animal IT IS A SCAM. When the phone number is a combination of numbers and words IT IS A SCAM. When the map of where they are is local, but the number is out of state IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT send a deposit. IT IS A SCAM. A mutt/ mixed breed IS NOT A PURE BRED ANIMAL DON'T PAY A FORTUNE, A mutt is a mutt (nothing wrong with a mutt) If they are asking a ridiculous fee for a puppy or kitten that was just weened and has not had shots, been wormed, seen a vet DON'T PAY FOR THEIR IRRESPONSIBLY. They have NOTHING invested. Don't get caught up with a dog that has issues, if the post says, not good with other animals, not good with kids, let that be a red flag that this animal may have a history of being aggressive. DON'T GET SCAMMED IF IT SEEMS LIKE A SCAM FLAG IT IMMEDIATELY
