Our New Century plant, which creates a variety of sweet treats for our customers and Kerry brands like chocolate covered nuts, pretzels, and fruits, is growing! We are hiring for immediate Openings plus receive a $2,000 Sign on Bonus! * Plant Information: At our location, we are focused on working safely and helping each other as a team. There is also a lunch reimbursement program with a variety of healthy food options in our cafeteria. We manufacture a lot of sweet food ingredients like chocolate and coated cereals, so work smells great! We also provide uniforms and personal safety equipment to make sure each of our team members leaves as they came in each day. * Shift and Pay Information: * 1st Shift (6:30a - 2:30p) Starting Pay: $16.00 based on previous experience * 2nd Shift Starting Pay (2:30p - 11:30p): $17.00 based on previous experience (includes a $1.00/hr shift differential) * 3rd Shift Starting Pay (11:30p - 2:30p): $17.00 based on previous experience (includes a $1.50/hr shift differential) * What you’ll do: As a Machine Operator you will assemble packaging boxes, read electronics scales and package complete, blended product in accordance with label description. You'll also help assist with shift transitions and cleaning details for the you equipment you are operating during your shift. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: * Because you’ll be working with ingredients to specific standards, you’ll need a high school diploma or equivalent OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to work 50 hours per week. * Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted, pull up to 20 pounds, work at elevated heights and in confined spaces, and climb stairs frequently during each shift.
