Small shop located in the mid-cities is looking to hire immediately. This position will be mainly part time but full time during the holidays and busy weeks. Summer time is extremely slow, little hours. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8:30-5:00 and Saturday 10:00-12:00.There is no set schedule, that varies from week to week. Pay will depend on experience and will be discussed during interview. Customer service experience is required. Some floral experience is preferred however not required. Looking For The Following: Creative in a variety of aspects Computer and phone skills Self motivated Detail oriented Multitask Flexible with hours Customer service (2+ years a must) Lifting up to 30 pounds Standing for long periods Fast learner Able to work Saturdays Okay with the cold (walk-in coolers) Great with cats, dogs and reptiles Daily Task Examples: Consolidating and cleaning coolers Prepping flowers and buckets for processing Processing flowers Stocking, organizing and cleaning the store Maintaining flowers and plants Dressing and prepping plants for customers Taking orders via phone and walk-ins for deliveries and pickups Creating arrangements from recipes and florist choice We are a small shop in the mid-cities.
