FAA repair station has an immediate opening for a FULL-TIME shipper/receiver with potential to train to become a bench technician. Gyroscopic, air data and electronic troubleshooting preferred but not required. Position available is ENTRY LEVEL trainee starting in shipping & receiving. NO MANAGERIAL positions available. Duties include shipment and receipt of all incoming and outgoing shipments, materials, and supplies, keeping inventory updated, communicating with technicians on supplies/parts needed, assisting walk-in customers, misc tasks such as changing light bulbs, some janitorial (taking out trash, keeping shipping area clean etc.) dropping off packages to Fed Ex etc., misc supply runs to Home Depot etc. Eligible candidates must be self-motivated, a fast learner, and a team player with a good mechanical aptitude. If you enjoy working with your hands, are open to learning a new trade, and are interested in aviation this may be a good fit for you. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Company offers medical, dental, 401k benefits, paid holidays, and vacation. Hours are primarily M-F 8-4:30 (technicians are welcome to work overtime). MUST have reliable form of transportation.
