Humanitas Staffing 1155 W Central Ave, Suite 203 Santa Ana, CA 92707 949-783-8350 / 714-675-8702 Shift: 1st @ 4:00AM Pay: $20/hr (Starting) Position is temp to hire Duties & Responsibilities - Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of inventory and supplies. - Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers. - Receive and unpack receipts. Label all receipts (individual cases) with all necessary information for traceability. Repack pallets and properly store with FIFO. Maintain an orderly and well-organized warehouse at all times. Develop warehouse locations for standardization in storing products to enhance inventory procedures. - Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for out-going delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups. Prepare the bill of lading with all the lot numbers and any other required documentation. - Execute in coordination with Kitchen management monthly inventories. Work with Accounting and Kitchen management on reconciliation of differences vs. the perpetual records. - Control inventory accuracy and efficient product storage, order supplies and goods as needed. - Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. - Supervise and execute the staging of product for production daily. Verify count with production lines and sign off. - Prepare and maintain a variety of records as required. Identify inventory that could go beyond shelf life to the kitchen to ensure usage before the inventory becomes out of date. - Use computerized or manual inventory system for receipts and shipments as required. - Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment. - Train and forklift certify warehouse personnel. - Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition. - Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required. - Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient system. - Assist Kitchen Management when needed to back fill positions in times of personnel issues including driving delivery routes if needed. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control and materials management in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Forklift certification and ability to operate a pallet jack required - Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Constantly moves, transports, and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds
