Floor Care Specialist Maintenance Joint Base Cape Cod Bourne, MA, US Hyannis, MA, US Part Time, 20 hours Fridays and Saturdays. Full time option available. GENERAL SUMMARY The Maintenance Associate performs duties in Military settings to ensure proper Contract regulations. This includes floor finish removing, floor finish applying, burnishing, and buffing tile floors. Responsibilities will consist of regular maintenance and periodic major floor service. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Perform daily /monthly/ semi -annual and annual floor service as scheduled. Training people with Developmental Disabilities in certain areas of floor work. Ensure safety rules are followed. SKILLS AND ABILITIES-DESIRED Prior work with people with Developmental Disabilities is valuable. Basic knowledge of floor work. Excellent problem solving skills. Valid MA driver’s license. General ability and experience with high-speed floor machines. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 Lb. Must successfully pass the Federal Cori check All Federal Contract employees are evaluated after 90 days OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONABILITIES Perform additional duties when assigned if floor work is slow.
