In a post titled "WAKE UP AMERICA" our resident prolific poster Mr Peanut (100% nut) says the following: "UK Smartens Up: Government No Longer Mandating Masks or Passports. The people are free again… ‘We will trust the judgement of the British people’" It is interesting because Mr Peanut (100% nut) quotes someone and even uses quotation marks but never tells us who he is quoting. Apparently he is quoting Boris Johnson at least that is the person that the right wing sites are so called quoting. I found a quote directly attributable to Boris Johnson at the gov.uk site which is likely the horses mouth for this quote. The actual quote from Boris Johnson differs a bit from the right wing quote. Boris's quote is as follows. "But we will trust the judgement of the British people and no longer criminalise anyone who chooses not to wear one." Why doesn't the original poster reveal where he copied his quote. Is he quoting Boris Johnson directly? or is he quoting some right wing media's out of context paraphrase of the original Boris Johnson quote? His COVID status was only revealed when he got deathly ill and required hospitalization. Maybe you can "trust the people" but it is clear no one could trust Trump to do the right thing. Not even trumps closest allies could trust him when it came to their health. Ask former NJ Governor Christie who had a near death experience because of trump. I assume Christie is only alive today because as former NJ Governor he likely got the absolute best of care. Something that is less likely for the average joe. We keep on hearing the right wing nuts trying to stick words like fascist onto the people who oppose their lies. Fascism grows and incubates when nourished with lies. You need to really be careful when presented with "facts" as told by right wing sources. You need to be careful when presented with rehashed right wing propaganda by craigs list posters such as Mr. Peanuts (100% nut). He seems to live in the craigs list rants & raves and politics areas when he is not busy harvesting right wing misinformation and disinformation to post here.
