Sunrise Dental Equipment, located at 2408 W. Main St. Leesburg, FL is currently seeking a warehouse associate for general labor and delivery driving. ** You must come in to our office to be considered for this position and fill out a general application. Emailed resumes and interests are accepted, but only candidates who show up to our facility will be considered. Position Details: -- Thoroughly clean, package, and palletize equipment items for transport. -- Move and organize inventory for storage or order processing. (Use floor movers, pallet jacks, pallet lift) -- General warehouse upkeep (Sweep floors, take out trash, clean up parking lot areas) -- Occasional delivery of equipment items, with some overnight trips. Ability to handle a standard pick up truck while towing a 20' or 26' foot trailer. -- Position requires a clean, valid drivers license to operate company vehicles. -- General use of basic hand tools, and packaging tools. -- General dis-assembly, and re-assembly of simple equipment items. Applicants must be able to handle the following responsibilities, job details, with little or no supervision. * Positive work ethics, attitude, and be punctual. * Must have very good communication skills. * Clean background. * Have general mechanical skills (A MUST). * Lift heavy objects and packages over 50 LBS. * Follow daily job instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner. * Flexible schedule, must be able to travel nationwide with little notice. * Ability to drive long distances to deliver or pick up dental equipment. * Valid drivers license and ability to drive a truck/26 ft. trailer combination. (NOT A SEMI) * Have organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean warehouse. * You must be in good general and physical health. The equipment we deal with is very heavy. ** We ARE specifically looking for a self starter and someone who wants to work. *** We are NOT looking for over the road commercial truck drivers (No CDL, not required) **** Hourly wage re-determined after 30 day trial period, based on experience and production output.
