Description
No Blubber.
This is not a Blubber tribute band.
And it won't kinda sorta sound like Blubber, either.
Blubber fanboys should find a band that clones Blubber's sound and musical aesthetics.
Or contact Blubber and ask if any replacement members are needed for a reunion tour.
There are always guys in bands that quit because they only want to play songs that sound Blubberesque or they get tired of working out originals and then they want to jam on Blubber songs with six packs and joints.
In this band, however: Thou shalt not Blub.
There's more to making music than cloning the Blubber vibe and jamming to Blubber songs.
It's not the Blubber era anymore and it hasn't been for a very long time.
Blubber has fulfilled the market for Blubber music, so people are satisfied with the Blubber that's already out there because Blubber got there first and planted their flag on Blubber Hill.
Blubber did a great job and created a lot of excitement back in their heyday when we were in high school or middle school.
But, Blubber fans are not likely to buy second tier Blubber created by Blubber fanboys.
The fans know second rate Blubber when they hear it and aren't interested in it.
Blubber music still sounds fresh. Music created by Blubber fanboys doesn't have the vibe and sounds dated and wank.
The Blubber fans don't feel the magic that Blubber fanboys feel when they are playing/idolizing Blubber.
Musicians who are beyond or over their Blubber phase are welcome to respond.
Thanks.
Yours Truly,
Carlos K. Krinklebine
