SEEKING GUITARIST / SINGER FOR POST-PUNK AND NO WAVE BAND minimalist and angular approach. less fuzz and distortion; more noise. Two vocalists—we already have one. Bass, guitar, drums trio. Some bands we love include Drahla, Lithics, Public Practice, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, Sneaks, Palberta, N0V3L, The Slits, Young Marble Giants, The Fall, The Raincoats, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, No Men, Negative Scanner, Collate, The Cure (Three Imaginary Boys), Bush Tetras, Delta 5, Grauzone, Sextile, Goat Girl, The KVB, Aunt Sally, ESG, DNA, Malaria!, Bodega...and on and on. We're in Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, S. Williamsburg area. Please send some demos of what you've worked on. We're looking to practice semi-regularly (2x per month) and go out on the road for weekends here-and-there in addition to a show per month in BK or NYC. We're vegan, smoke cigarettes and don't fuck with prejudices, closed-minds or shitty, abusive behavior.
