Special Olympics DC Pre-Polar Plunge Happy Hour! The Special Olympics DC's Young Professionals Council invites you to our Pre-Polar Plunge Happy Hour. Come learn about how you can support Special Olympics DC, the District's sole provider of sports, health and inclusion programs benefitting over 2,500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This is your chance to sip warming winter spirits, sign up to receive more information about volunteering, and most importantly, sign up to take the plunge at SODC’s annual Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 26. Did someone say freezin’ for a reason?! Please consider making a donation to Special Olympics DC when you register. Any amount is appreciated. The mission of Special Olympics DC Young Professionals Council is to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and plan and implement various social and fundraising events to support the Special Olympics DC movement, as well as build the next generation of leaders.
