Join us for our Monthly Family Walk, gather at the Vollmer Center Join us for our Monthly Family Walk on February 27 at 2pm. On this wintry walk, we will hike the grounds in search of winter foliage and learn about the ecology of evergreens. We will end our time collecting sticks to create stick art and stick mazes! Walk content will be geared towards children ages 5-10 and we will be out for approximately 1.5 hours. Our Director of Education, Erika Castillo, will be your guide. Our walks are free to members. There is a $5 per child suggested donation to Cylburn Arboretum Friends (an accompanying adult is free) if you are not a member. Cylburn Arboretum Friends is the 501(c)3 non-profit friends group of Baltimore City's Cylburn Arboretum, enriching and enhancing the arboretum and our community in a variety of ways, and providing nature education programs for people of all ages.
