A one-day Bible Conference from the West Virginia Baptist Convention on The Book of Galatians: Amazing Grace with Dr. Trent Eastman. March 6, 2021 Parchment Valley Conference Center in Hill Hall Conference Fee: $20.00 per person Pastors Pay Half Price: $10.00 Registration deadline (with money enclosed): March 3, 2021 Schedule: Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m., instruction will start at 9:30 a.m. and the event will end at 3:00 p.m. Fees include lunch and snacks. The Book of Galatians: Amazing Grace featuring: Dr. Trent Eastman, pastor, New Baptist Church, Huntington and Adjunct Professor, Palmer Theological Seminary Trent Eastman has been lead pastor of New Baptist Church (Guyandotte) since its inception in 2008. Prior to the creation of New Baptist Church, Trent pastored Beverly Hills Baptist Church, one of the churches merged to form New Baptist Church. Before coming to Huntington, he served with Food for the Hungry International in Kenya and Bangladesh (January 1991 to December 1999). Trent received his Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary of Wilmore, Kentucky in the spring of 2016.  He completed his Master of Divinity at Palmer Theological Seminary of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2002.  Currently, Trent chairs the Guyandotte Baptist Association Ordination Council, is a member of the West Virginia Baptist Campus Ministries Board and serves as a mentor assisting Doctor of Ministry students.  Trent is also a member of the International Society of Theta Phi, an honor society for scholars in the field of religion and outstanding religious leaders.  Periodically, Trent serves as an adjunct professor for Palmer Theological Seminary’s extension program in West Virginia.  School of Christian Studies ADVANCED credit is available. Please note: students must also pay the conference registration fee in addition to the School of Christian Studies' fee.
